Tamra is completing her M.S. in health promotion and disease prevention at Springfield College, in Springfield Massachusetts. She completed her fieldwork in Health & Healing at Canyon Ranch, in Lenox, MA. Tamra is a certified holistic health counselor (AADP), group fitness instructor (AFAA), and spin instructor (Johnny G). Tamra was a division I collegiate scholarship athlete and continues to stay active after college.
Most of her life she dealt with digestive distress and multiple sports related injuries. In her early twenties Tamra grew tired and disappointed with conventional doctors, medicine and therapies. Their focus on the “parts” and their inability to address her as a “whole” was not enough. In a quest to reclaim her health she turned to holistic nutrition, alternative medicine, acupuncture and cranial sacral therapy. Tamra has personally explored many alternative & holistic healing modalities including: ayurveda, acupuncture, acupressure, cupping, zero balancing, cranial sacral therapy, gyrotonics, visceral manipulation, raw foods, and various detoxifying and cleansing programs. As her quality of health began to increase, her commitment, passion and interest for alternative and holistic health also reached a new level. In her late twenties Tamra left her successful sports marketing and event management career to pursue her master’s degree and certification in holistic health counseling. Over the past 15 years Tamra has been led a very active life. Her commitment to physical wellbeing and fitness continues to grow and expand. In addition to fitness training, spinning and coaching Tamra personally enjoys hiking, mountain biking, snowshoeing, rock climbing, yoga, and trail running. Tamra loves to explore outdoors in parks, forests, and cities. |

Tamra is committed to working with individuals, families, communities, and workplaces to educate them about the bio-individuality of nutrition, exercise and life!
